Tailoring and literacy program for women

Project Brief

Since 1996, the work of this Foundation across four slums in Bangalore has imparted vocational training in the form of tailoring to over thousand women in the area. The foundation focuses on helping these women earn a livelihood for themselves and encourage other underprivileged women in their local community through example. Placement sessions organized by the Foundation enable their students to find stable employment in garment companies.
